How can I help?
I think my colleague's last reply to you summarised the issue: #1280797353632202777 message
Are you unable to see the previous thread?
I want to allow our users to customize their payment methods from their Stripe Dahsboard.
We integrated with Stripe Checkout.
In Stripe Checkout Page, they are not able to see the payment methods that they enabled.
I am yes, hence how I just linked the message to you
Which PMs specifically? Are you from the platform, or the conncted account?
Did you reads the response from the colleagues in the previous two threads? You need to make changes to a separate PM config on the platform (Jotform Inc) that is used for your connected accounts. Here: https://dashboard.stripe.com/settings/payment_methods/connected_accounts?config_id=pmc_0PtSbMnuL8NmlnsQGK3bIsuz
That of course assume that you are Jotform Inc and have access to the Dashboard for that account
Anyway, I looked at the example from the older thread: cs_live_a1ZgUh44VfgWEBrsXoCdDQX4IHLaYNVDIFsQmX4gzs0u29buLhnWiS7nXl
That was created on the connected account (acct_1ODpiHJpFr4FX3WI) by the platform (acct_1ODpiHJpFr4FX3WI). It used the PMC that is generated as a clone from the one linked above, that the connected account can change themselves โ the platform permits to disable/enable PMs
Sign in to the Stripe Dashboard to manage business payments and operations in your account. Manage payments and refunds, respond to disputes and more.
OK, so what PMs were you expecting to see on Checkout that aren't enabled from this conncted account?
OK, and have you tried creating a new Checkout Session? The example I'm looking at predates some changes
What's the cs_xxx ID?
I can see all this myself, no need to share the screenshots
This are the settings I changed
Sign in to the Stripe Dashboard to manage business payments and operations in your account. Manage payments and refunds, respond to disputes and more.
Please just generate a new Checkout Session using the same conncted account and share the cs_xxx ID
is the path correct?
We're talking past each other
โ๏ธ
Can you please just paste a cs_xxx ID here?
cs_live_a1EL4HIDomtb5Ju3ykbr0ZRoKoVzhzXiqVv6GFPaKaTvy0bHKiGlgj0bnz
Thank you
now i can see ideal
but I see this because I enabled ideal from the settings
According to your article here
We shouldn't hide iDEAL based on location
I can see it too and I'm in UK
I dont need to do this if I enable account customization
So, what's the issue?
I dont want to enable all of them
I just want to allow our users to control payment methods from their own dashboards
I said my issue at the beginning of this conversation
That is how it is set up, the box is enabled to allow the connected accounts to override your platform defaults
When i disable the ideal now, what will happen?
we have 50K connected accounts so making these changes takes a lot of time
I suspect it'll be disabled for all your connected accounts assuming they haven't manually enabled it on the config themselves
If they enabled ideal from their dashbaord, what will happen?
I know that this user enabled the followings "active_payment_methods":{"bancontact_payments":"active","blik_payments":"active","card_payments":"active","cartes_bancaires_payments":"pending","eps_payments":"active","giropay_payments":"active","ideal_payments":"active","klarna_payments":"active","link_payments":"active","p24_payments":"active","platform_payments":"active"}
But in the checkout page, s/he can see only ideal now
Then it'll override the status for iDEAL you've set at the platofrm level
Could be a number of reasons why any one of those PMs aren't showing on the payment page โ they don't support the currency, etc
To be clear, in checkout page, ideal will be listed, right?
My understanding yes
Okay, lets talk about bancomat pay
it is popular in Belgium
currency is EUR
so it seems like ideal
and it should be listed for this session
I am disabling the ideal now to see if it is listed or not
Which?
cs_live_a1XgMCHTD0bDFQZFzRG7oVJSt0QNIChQytSk41PgxyYqMUxW91sYUoVVUr
Bancontact is disabled by the connected account, because you allow them to customise the settings
Okay
could you please check this one
cs_test_a1Gf7E1wQNfxwm5aEEw4mM2Qo3ytmcZhytEUujd3jW50uHOjVuLNWg79lV
What about it?
You, Jotform, have that PM disabled at the platform level and you don't allow the connected accounts to override that: https://dashboard.stripe.com/test/settings/payment_methods/connected_accounts?config_id=pmc_0NW4MSnuL8NmlnsQBAlCLvhf
Sign in to the Stripe Dashboard to manage business payments and operations in your account. Manage payments and refunds, respond to disputes and more.
That is their settings for payments/sessions that aren't created by you, Jotform
I enabled it now
OK, then they need a new session
cs_test_a1S0QMaFQYsd32kbXf0v7ZCok9MfIlQh62k1lP5q4YXG0rbPkBJQGVpNJv
new session
but Przelewy24 still not listed
Still off by default: https://dashboard.stripe.com/test/settings/payment_methods/connected_accounts?config_id=pmc_0NW4MSnuL8NmlnsQBAlCLvhf
Sign in to the Stripe Dashboard to manage business payments and operations in your account. Manage payments and refunds, respond to disputes and more.
It's using your testmode config as it's a test session
This is enabled
This is disabled. I don't want to enable this because I want to give the control to the customer.
Disabled on connected account
Please take a step back and fully understand how these configs work in Connect scenarios. I suspect your connected account(s) are looking at the wrong config and instead are applyiong changes to the config for payments/session directly on their account which doesn't apply in the scenario were you, Jotform, are creating session for them
In the Dashboard (this URL: https://dashboard.stripe.com/test/settings/payment_methods) they need to make sure that the Jotform config is selected by applying changes
Sign in to the Stripe Dashboard to manage business payments and operations in your account. Manage payments and refunds, respond to disputes and more.
This is likely the root issue. I can see P24 is enabled on the config used for their payments, but not on the config for Jotform payments
I clicked to the link above
but I am not able to see Jotform config
in the dropdown
Yes, because you are Jotform. That will only show for accounts connected to you
