Hi, let me help you with this.
What do you mean by this?
transfer status is set to Manual
I see this PaymentIntent was created by your backend and transfer_data.destination is specified: https://dashboard.stripe.com/logs/req_05qXEEAp88B3tA
what do you mean by our backend ?
Payouts and Transfers are different.
Payouts are made from your Stripe balance to your external bank account.
Transfers are made from the Platform account balance to Connected account balance.
metadata in this request are not visible on final payment intent
yes, but on this Account, payouts are disabled (manual) since many months. And your req_ id is not present in the event
and when I look at events details, there is no webhook notification
if you look at py_1PbjfN2EGVBbY8hlf1Ogm4U4 there is no metadata
req_ you sent is not fort py_1PbjfN2EGVBbY8hlf1Ogm4U4
it's for pi_3PbjetC4QTOJGsXo0cZcKmRo
Yes, that's correct. py_ is an object on the Connected account that corresponds to the Transfer from the Platform account. metadata is not copied automatically.
ok, so, why payouts are created, when they are set to manual ?

Where is this screenshot from exactly?

I would suggest you to reach out to Stripe Support. I am not sure why Payouts are created automatically in your case, seems to be something specific to your Stripe account.

When we contact support with this interface, it's like being in hell. Nobody understand, and respond to the real issue, and we fall into an infinite loop
I'm sorry to hear about your experience. I wish I could help here, but it's an account configuration question, which I don't have enough context about.
maybe @tall kestrel can dig in ?
๐ @meager crystal it's not the type of questions that we can help you with here on this channel
as my colleague suggested please contact https://support.stripe.com/?contact=true

I'm already doing it, but I also already know I will never have any answer which will help to understand the issue. And it's a big issue here
