Sure here is an example setup: https://docs.stripe.com/billing/subscriptions/subscription-schedules/use-cases#installment-plans
This is quite good indeed, the only thing is right now we're setting up the checkout session with trial days so their billing starts in the future but it's confusing clients based on wording present on the checkout session (trial days and subscription)
Would you suggest we save their payment methods while specifying our terms and services and bill them off session instead to avoid confusion?
Yeah that's totally fine, though you would need to communicate your term clearly
Indeed, is there any other way to set this up using stripe's checkout sessions? I believe stripe checkout sessions don't natively support setting up a subscription to start in the future without using trial days, or am I mistaken?
Nope you are correct. Trial days in Checkout, and SubSchedule for regular Subscription
So if clients are confused with the mention of trial days on the stripe checkout session, saving their payment information with detailed terms and services and billing them off session seems like the way to go in our usecase or would you advise some other way?
Yes correct. And by "billing off session" I mean Subscription Schedule as your original ask
Sounds great ๐
