Hello once again, @steady hearth. ๐
Hi there ๐
Could you please elaborate more on what are you actually trying to do?
I'm just trying to change connected account address using test mode
I want to see, if I call endpoint retrieve account, if there will be any change
By default, there is null values and that is not saying much.
I was trying to connect two of account, which are on my Stripe dashboard, but did not figure out how.
For example, I'd like to know if account change business_type from individual to company, or something like this.
You can just try this and see if it works. Not sure how I can help here.
What can I try?
Changing the address.
But I can't. That is what I'm saying.
I don't have secret key, and when I'm trying to do it using api, I'm getting the error, I have not enough permissions (due to Standard account type of connected account)
Yes, you can't update Standard account business information. The owner of the account can only do it via their own Stripe Dashboard.
OK, and is there any workaround? Or any way how to get to standard connected account's secret key? I mean, I've created it.
No, only the account owner can update it, unfortunately.
But I can update my own account, right? So the response would be the same, if someone do it using his/her account?
I mean, so differences would be there, but I mean generally.
One more question, can I somehow connect two accounts, which I own?
Correct.
You can only connect an account to a Platform.
I.e. not in an equal fashion, but one account will control the other.
Yeah, yeah
