typedef_subscription-cancel

#

@fathom drum you can check if the Event has request: null or not.

Hi, if its null its from the failed payments attemps?

visual talon
#

yes

#

if it's not null it's because you called the Cancel Subscription API

fathom drum
#

Otherwise it will be an object like this right (if manual) ?

visual talon
#

yes!

fathom drum
#

Thanks will try that

yes!

fathom drum
#

However its also null if it was cancelled from the hosted portal

#

or it will not be an object at all? just "request": null

visual talon
#

I was worried you;d say that. There are sadly other cases where it'll be null

#

so if you use the portal then that solution won't work and there isn't really a way to track it

fathom drum
#

i see, we'd have to record failed payments then

ooo theres a "payment_failed"

#

thats good i just need to check cancellation_details.reason

#

thanks
