I believe tokens can be converted to payment method using, card[token] param
any way for sources ( I know they are depricated) ?
No you can't migrate existing src_xxx to a pm_xxx, they're backwards compatible though: https://docs.stripe.com/payments/payment-methods/transitioning#compatibility
You should just update your integration to create/use pm_xxx objects going forward for net new payment instruments
I was wondering, our old customers have sources attached to them, so without using payment intents API, they cant be transitioned to a more usable form like a payment method?
or is it like I can use the "source" as a payment method if it is already attached to that customer
the latter. They just keep working as-is, and any API that accepts a PaymentMethod accepts a Source for backwards compatibility
so basically I should not have any problems, just need to make my own logic to handle these
sounds good thanks!
