Hi, I don't know much about Shopify, unfortunately. You might want to ask their own support.
shopify is not needed over here
integration will be between our app and stripe.
but what all details will be required?
let me just explain you what we do.
we have app which manages vendor comission. direct from our app we want vendor should received money on the basis of commission calculated on our portal.
what API will be needed in it.
Are you there?
How are you using Stripe right now?
Stripe has a product called Connect, for multi-party payments. You could take a look at it and see if it fits your needs: https://docs.stripe.com/connect
currently we are using stripe as a manual process to transfer fund
but now we want that on the checkout page stripe option should come and from there once payment is sent by the end customer it directly goes to the sellers.
yes Stripe Connect is the one that we are looking for. but stuck on how to connect.
is there any possibility to connect on voice call?
No, I can only chat here, sorry.
What part is unclear exactly?
how to stripe will get to know what amount needs to be deducted.
1 order having 3 product of 3 different seller. we want all 3 sellers should get it automatically once a customer makes payment.
you call the API and pass parameters like amount to tell us what amount to charge the customer's payment method, and you call other APIs to tell us to tranfer certain amounts to other accounts. What does your code so far look like, what development problem are you running into?
can you please share API endpoints
start with https://docs.stripe.com/connect and follow the guides and it will explain how to use the APIs.
we are stuck on getting endpoint.
what does that mean?
we have to register our URL ?
again, not sure what that means.
Your documentation for stripe connect is very lengthy. its difficult to get what is need.
needed*
did you have a more specific question? it is lengthy documentation, because it's a complex product for complex use cases.
i have asked specific questions where you shared the documentation link. and on saying documentation is lengthy you say ask a specific question.
is it possible for you to share a endpoints?
Are you there?
Hey! Taking over for my colleague. Let me catch up.
endpoint for what ?
Could you please share more details ?
you call the API and pass parameters like amount to tell us what amount to charge the customer's payment method, and you call other APIs to tell us to tranfer certain amounts to other accounts. What does your code so far look like, what development problem are you running into?
i got the above reply from your colleague.
and i need endpoint for the same
First of all you need to understand what is Stripe Connect. The link my colleague shared is a good Start. For example, you can start to understand the Charges types by reading this guide:
https://docs.stripe.com/connect/charges
Then you determine the type of your Connect Account Type:
https://docs.stripe.com/connect/accounts
i want someone to come on call
5 min will work for us
just to understand the flow
small request, can connect on Discord screen share as well
No sorry we don't offer this in this Discord Server
