Hi there, the error message already explained why the API request failed You can only create new accounts if you've signed up for Connect, which you can learn how to do at https://stripe.com/docs/connect.
Looks like you haven't sign up for Connect yet.

The error message indicates that you haven't activated Stripe Connect. I'd suggest you open the link and follow the instructoins to activate Connect on your Stripe account.

Yes you need to complete this in order to use Connect.

If she already has a Stripe account, then she can just activate Stripe Connect on the existing account.
I don't see a need to create a new Stripe account.
