So, if I can add metadata to the customer, will any paymentmethod events attached to that customer automatically include that same metadata?

Ah, I don't think so. I see that the customer in question has "customer_id" in their metadata already, and that's not appearing in the paymentmethod events

Ah, but I could query for the customer and their metadata through the api... That'll be it
