we can no longer adding these declined cards via PaymentSheet
the PaymentSheet seems decline the card before making a purchase

Which test card do you use? Do you use it on Setup Intent or Payment Intent?

if we remove that, then we should be able to add these cards back?

I'm not saying you are, but we have never given that functionality

you can use these cards when trying to collect a payment, or pay an invoice, etc. but never to attach to a customer

thats the part I was trying to clarify, whether there was a change to PaymentSheet or maybe like you mentioned, setup_future_usage

if you're using SetupIntent then you want the PM to be attached to the customer
which is not possible with these cards

We did have a connect account, which hold these cards while adding them via PaymentSheet, by using SetupIntent, and then copy the PM and attach to the customer during the payment process, would that be the issue here?

would you mind sharing either a PM ID or a SetupIntent ID where you were successful of attaching these declined cards to a customer?
