do I use "billing_cycle_anchor="now"" when creating the subscription to make sure that the invoice.paid get's triggered at the beginnig of the renewal cycle?
also will this work even if the user doesn't have a default payment atatched on file?
No. If you want billing cycle anchor to be the time of subscription creation, you don't need to set it to anything.
