where can i edit the code on payments links ?
That's impossible with PaymentLinks. This is a really advanced card payments feature that is only accessible for large users with their own integration with code
There are none. Card holds by default last 7 days, no way around it
preorder campaign usually don't take payments upfront, they collect card details and charge closer to the event/product shipping
is it possible to set up a payment link with this? https://docs.stripe.com/payments/save-and-reuse
We can charge any amount afterwards? Let's say the price is 90€, client accepts, i save his card details and then at the end of the campaign, i charge his card
No PaymentLinks do not support "setup mode" just yet. We want to do this in the future but right now you'll have to write code to use Checkout directly
But otherwise yes you can charge $90 later, just their card might be declined but that's common with preorders. Like when you book a hotel
ok got it
so if card decline, can i still try to charge or i might lose the client?
if the card is declined you would contact them asking them to enter new card details or talk to their bank
thanks
any recommendenation for a paid coder ?
someone to implement this code on my website?
No sorry, fin a freelancer online. Not something we can help with here unfortunately
