Sorry there was no option to upload my screenshots, so adding them now with one more question. I also want to remove the wordings in highlighted circle, if possible.
hi! let me look into the spacing thing.
For the Affirm details, are you sure you're not using the paymentMethodMessaging element somewhere on the page?
your variables is not in the right place, it needs to be inside the appearance oject
Hi @fluid lodge we don't offer Affirm through Stripe, also we use the paymentMethodType to load only a particular payment method that our customer has selected in the previous page on our site
hmm. Do you have a public link to the page where this is happening?
Sure, you can use this test payment link https://hms.offlineairlines.com/booking/paymentrequest?currency=USD&pd=50.00&pr=358508¬e=test
I don't see it there, but that's probably because I'm not in the US and it's some sort of A/B test or something to display that inside the PaymentElement to increase conversion
can you send me the screenshot that you are seeing?
Yes, so that's the Payment Element offering Afterpay, if you select UK in the country and start filling the address e.g. 215 ... it till give you the address lookup and I want to add more spacing (margin) between these fields.
I answered that part above
^^
Hi @fluid lodge I just got reply from Stripe support. Look like I was adding the appearance variable incorrectly, and regarding messaging text I can't remove it.
yeah I already told you about the variable placement
I'd probably push back on the messaging part if you think it's wrong, it's probably some experiment we could take you out of you think it's inaccurate
anyway let's not duplicate effort, good to close this thread?
its not inaccurate, it's just that customer have already made-up their mind to use Afterpay/Clearpay and they we already show this Afterpay/Clearpay message on our previous booking details page, so we don't need to show it on the payment page.
got it
it would be nice if there was a flag to set, what we want to display
