Hello! We'll be with you shortly. Below are links to other discussions we've had with you in the past week in case you want to review that information. If your question is related to one of these previous discussions, please provide a comprehensive summary of the current state and what you need help with now. We help many users simultaneously, so a summary allows us to resolve your issue as soon as possible.

@hallow pagoda the two go hand in hand. You create an account for them first and then you get them to provide all the important information we need about them and their business using the "hosted onboarding" UI

AH I see. They are not the same thing

#

So, I should have them created an account using API, then send them to the Stripe hosted onboarding flow.

yes!

#

To create an account, the user needs to provide an email, and does it need to match with the email they will use in the Stripe onboarding flow?

#

Also, for creating an account, what are the typical params or information that are good to pass to the API?

Hello! I'm taking over and catching up...

#

You mean they provide an email to you before you create the Account with the API? If so, you can set the email they give you on the Account when you create it if that's the email you want them to use.

#

There are no typical params to pass. There are a ton of different use cases and scenarios.

#

What works best for you may be very different from other users.

Once, I create a connected account, I am going to send them to the Stripe hosted onboarding

#

Then, the user will fill out the information there. And, I am curious if the email they used to create the connected account should match with the email they will use in the Stripe hosted onboarding.

Not sure I understand what you mean by "should match"?

#

I recommend you try this out in test mode to get a feel for how it behaves.
