Hello! We'll be with you shortly. Below are links to other discussions we've had with you in the past week in case you want to review that information. If your question is related to one of these previous discussions, please provide a comprehensive summary of the current state and what you need help with now. We help many users simultaneously, so a summary allows us to resolve your issue as soon as possible.

Hmm, I'd be surprised if the Dashboard is somehow hitting API rate limits. What's the acct_xxx ID?

latent pike
#

let me fetch it

#

acct_1NES3vK3sU3vHCO7

#

it's only happening to one of my team memebrs

#

they get the errors when they enter certain parts of the dashboard, for example product catalogue, or subscriptions (

summer solstice
#

Can you/they look in the network tab and find the request that returned that error?

#

Should be a req_xxx in the headers I think

summer solstice
latent pike
#

alright give me a minute to see

#

is it possible to send a JAM link to show you the whole network record ?

#

because i couldn't find a request ID

summer solstice
#

I just need the req_xxx ID or the endpoint really. Can see the end-to-end duration and other details from our logs

latent pike
#

this is when accessing the product catalogue

#

https://dashboard.stripe.com/ajax/legacy_graphql/user_preferences?include_only%5B%5D=preferences

summer solstice
#

Hmm, this is weird

latent pike
#

I tried accessing one of the customer's invoices

#

this is the logs, but the network showed as 200 for everything

summer solstice
#

So this is limited to one specific user on your account right? Can they try sign out and back in?

They tried that, i tried clearing their cache/cookies the same thing happened.
I added a new user to the account just incase, and the issue happened again

#

it's not happening on my account - i am the owner

summer solstice
#

Bear with me, I'm going to quickly try and reproduce. Not seeing other reports of this currently

latent pike
#

take your time.

#

it is a test account so if you want the credentials i can provide them

summer solstice
#

All good, I can access your Dashboard and account from here

#

Is there a specific user role that is seeing this error?

latent pike
#

yes, anyone that's not an admin. when i added the users i gave them all the roles except admin

#

well that's the roles for that specific user

#

i just logged in into their account on my pc , same thing happened when i accessed the subscriptions tab, i was in incognito using opera (they're using chrome on theirs)

edit: same on chrome on my pc.

summer solstice
#

When you say 'their account', you mean using their credentials but still accessing acct_1NES3vK3sU3vHCO7?

#

I can't reproduce on my account(s). Just tried inviting a new user, going to try your account

latent pike
#

yes i am logging into their user credentials, I choose the account acct_1NES3vK3sU3vHCO7 and clink on subscriptions in the dashboard. it loads and shows a white screen

#

and the errors in the console show up

summer solstice
#

I'm clicking around in the Dashboard for that account as a 'developer' role. I don't see any requests to that endpoint that is returning the 429

#

One last suggestion: remove the user(s) from the account and re-add them

latent pike
#

that's the roles they have.

#

i've tried it with another user. same thing happened.

#

added that user yesterday

#

right now nothing is showing as 429. just a blank page when i click into subscriptions or open this url https://dashboard.stripe.com/test/subscriptions

#

till now i've tried the following:

  • new user accounts
  • changed my internet connection
  • different pcs, browsers and operating systems

i'm gonna add a new user now and check with it again

summer solstice
#

Sorry, still looking into this

latent pike
#

i just removed the team member and added them again. same issue happened .. blank screen on some of the pages with errors in the console

summer solstice
#

Are there those failing API requests in the browser still?

latent pike
#

1 moment to check

#

No failing APIs, just this

summer solstice
#

OK, can you write in to my team with a brief summary of this: https://support.stripe.com/contact/email?topic=api_integration

You can reference this thread. I'm going to flag with the Dashboard team as this is really bizarre and we're seeing no other affected accounts

#

We can get this resolved async for you

latent pike
#

Alright i'll email now

summer solstice
#

Appreciate it!

#

Check the 'developer' box on that page and it'll come straight to me
