Hi, that is because your platform and any connected accounts must be in the same region: https://stripe.com/docs/connect/separate-charges-and-transfers. Since your Platform is in UK, and these connected accounts are in the USA/Canada, it won't work.

I would guess we could make a payment to them, but we can't deposit money into their connect account?

Someone i've been talking to within Stripe Support over email has suggested that Instant Payouts will solve our problems, however I don't feel they fully understnad.

It is NOT recommended, however, it is technically possible with Express.
