Hello! We'll be with you shortly. Below are links to other discussions we've had with you in the past week in case you want to review that information. If your question is related to one of these previous discussions, please provide a comprehensive summary of the current state and what you need help with now. Hi
Could you please share more details about your ask ?

Hi! Thanks for the promt response.

#

Yes, I am testing the management of PMs of my connected accounts by the platofrm account.

#

This is the PI pi_3OdtOEFNmyBWi7yR0kyjXoE5

#

It is in test mode. I don't understand why I see the PM Sofort.

So to summarize, you are creating a PaymentIntent using automatic_payment_methods as a direct charge on your Connect Account acct_1OdqXLFNmyBWi7yR

fervent ridge
#

Yes, exactly. But acct_1OdqXLFNmyBWi7yR has not activated Sofort.

Sofort is activated there

"our Standard accounts are able to use most payment methods by default; however, some payment methods (such as Alipay and WeChat Pay) require your users to manually activate the payment method in their Dashboard."

#

Or does this only apply in live mode?

I did not expect to see it in test mode because the connected account did not activate it manually.

#

Untill the connected account activates it, I do not want to see it.

From the platform dashboard?

#

Yes

#

And choose "Your connected accounts" section

#

The link and screenshot I shared with you earlier

fervent ridge

Ok, but I don't understand the logic.

My intention is to enable Sooft was a PM. But from the docs I expected to see Sofort automatically enabled according to "our Standard accounts are able to use most payment methods by default; however, some payment methods (such as Alipay and WeChat Pay) require your users to manually activate the payment method in their Dashboard."

This is what I don't understandt why it is avaibale when the connected account has not activated it.

This is what I don't understandt why it is avaibale when the connected account has not activated it.
Because you have it activated in your platform account's Connect Settings

But why does it say "however, some payment methods (such as Alipay and WeChat Pay) require your users to manually activate the payment method in their Dashboard." If this is not the case? Sofort was never activated by the user (connected account) but by the platform.

For Alipay and Wechat Pay, the Standard account need to activate the payment in their dashboard too

#

I'm not sure I'm seeing the link you are trying to achieve here, sorry.

#

In your case, if you want to disable Sofort, you need to disable it from your platform's Connect settings too.

fervent ridge
#

This is from the platform account: Here it says that connected account users have to activate Sofort additionally to the platform activation.

I don't understand why Sofort is available without having activated it form the connected account.

Ok, thank you. My issue is resolved. Have a nice day!
