Hello! I thought the link in question was in the original email you get? Stripe can't know when the microdeposits are in the account, it depends on how long it takes for each bank.
Ah, that's just the authorization email about you being able to debit the account.
There should be a seprate email. See here for details: https://stripe.com/docs/payments/ach-debit/accept-a-payment?platform=web&ui=API#web-verify-with-microdeposits
If you supplied a billing email, Stripe notifies your customer via this email when the deposits are expected to arrive. The email includes a link to a Stripe-hosted verification page where they can confirm the amounts of the deposits and complete verification.
It could be that it just hasn't been sent yet, as we guess (but can't know) when the microdeposits land.
How much should it take
to send the email ?
You can share the ID, it's not sensitive, but I don't think I'll be able to help much with it.
Just to see if email is provided
It takes as long as it takes. Again, it's based on when we think the microdeposits will be available. It's a variable amount of time.
So, if i've created payment yesterday
And got the microdeposit today
Is it possible to receive the email tomorrow ?
It's possible you might get it tomorrow, yeah, or even the next day.
I imagine we probably err on the side of sending it later, after we're more sure the microdeposits have landed, rather than sooner.
Yeah
If we send it too soon and the microdeposits aren't there it's more likely the customer will forget about the whole thing and never complete verification.
