My domain is verified, the paypal account is connected and everything is as it should, but somehow it is still not being displayed. Any idea why?
Hi, how are you integrated with Stripe? Where is your account's/ business location?
You can see the eligibility here, https://stripe.com/docs/payments/paypal/accept-a-payment?platform=web&ui=checkout
Nevermind, in order to accept PayPal for subscriptions, I have to separately request access from PayPal for this, correct? Just saw the button where I was able to activate recurring payments 😅
I am eligible, just a little blind I think, since I did not see that button for enabling recurring payments
So well, sorry for holding you up, thank you anyways though!
Sure, glad you got your self unblocked!
I do have one more question though
Sure
So basically, when testing my implementation (recurring subscription, charged annually, implemented with node.js backend and react frontend), I created a subscription with a testing period of 720 days. When logging into the Stripe customer portal, I get the normal overview everyone gets, meaning that I can cancel my plan, edit payment information or do some other stuff.
Just for background information: The software is being billed per registered car.
So I gave myself 1 car (60€ annually) for this 720 day testing period (so for free, since i'm still in the testing period), but I want to extend this up to 2 cars. When I try to select 2 cars (while already being subscribed through a test period to 1 car), I still have to pay the full 120€ for both cars instead only for the 2nd car, since I still have the first car because of the testing period. Is this behaviour correct? Is there a way to modify this behaviour if it is intended to be like this?
How are you creating the Subscription? How are you offering the free trial?
Zendron-Sub-Trial
I created the subscription via the Stripe dashboard
Why are you creating the Subscription using the Dashboard? Can you share the request id where you created the Subscription? Here's how you can find a request ID: https://support.stripe.com/questions/finding-the-id-for-an-api-request
I created the subscription through the dashboard for testing purposes. I will continue to work on this problem tomorrow, so you can close this ticket and if I do need help again, I will be back.
But as of right now, thank you for your help! Have a good day
