https://stripe.com/global yes I saw Ghana in the list.
Once Stripe is supported in your country, you’ll be able to accept payments from customers anywhere in the world.
I'm based in Brazil
Have a marketplace here
Where people can create stripe connect accounts
Its stripe connect I think
https://paystack.com/stripe/ghana Ghana is supported by Paystack, a Stripe subsidiary company
Do I need to do any new integration ?
Can ghanaian entrepreneurs use my app?
And I take 10%
If they sell items or subscriptions ?
Because in Brazil I have a marketplace
Where I take 10%
I plan to expand to Ghana
So the platform is in Brazil and the connected accounts are in Ghana?
Yes that's the idea
Ok, https://stripe.com/docs/connect/accounts#express-account-availability I can see Ghana is also in the list of Express account availablity.
What kind of app do you refer to? Are you talking about Stripe app? https://stripe.com/apps
No
Let me explain
Yes im talking about stripe
But let me give you context
I have a website that is a marketplace in Brazil
Essentially it's a meetup website for social groups
in my website/app ios android
people download
they create a group
then they can sell items, subscriptions, tickets
etc
for their meetup groups
recently I have been cooking a partnership with some community organizers in Ghana
I currently use Stripe in Brazil, with Stripe connect
to operationalize this business model
if I decide to go ahead with my expansion to Ghana
what would I have to do ?
Can I just use my current setup ? Do I have to open an entity in Ghana (because that's not really my goal)
Who are the connected accounts in this context?
Can I make my website and app available in Ghana and can the local Ghanaian community organizers use the app and offer their services (for which I take a 10% cut)
It would be people in Ghana who create the connected accounts to my marketplace
and sell things, and get paid. And I get a 10% fee
Ok. I'm unable to give advices whether you need to register a business entity in order to operate in Ghana, and I'd suggest you consult with a lawyer who knows the local regulations in that country.
Just like it works in Brazil now
That's not the question
is it technically possible
I have an online marketplace in Brazil
Can I make it available for people in Ghana
Where they will create stripe connect accounts and then sell items and subscriptions
of which I take a 10% cut
that's the bottomline question here
If you are asking how to take 10% application with destination charge, https://stripe.com/docs/connect/destination-charges#application-fee this is the integration guide that you should follow.
But I'd highly recommend you to consult a lawyer for the local compliance before launching your business in Ghana.
I already do this on my plataform
you're not understanding the question
Let me share my stripe id
so you can see
I've already answere your question about the 10% application fee.
"Can I make it available for people in Ghana" -> this is not a technical question, and you should work with your lawyer for compliance.
Again, I've already answered this question https://stripe.com/docs/connect/accounts#express-account-availability
you said there is a stripe account in Ghana
subsidiary
how do I connect to this subsidiary ?

You're not replying the question technically
this is not a legal questions
its simple
listen
you showed a subsidiary of yours in Ghana
does it work with the API
or it has a separate API /
???
I don't think you need to use Paystack API to integrate Stripe Connect. I'd suggest you to create a connected account for Ghana in test mode, try your integration out, and come back if you have a more specific question.
No problem. Anything that I can help?
