So the quantity and the usage are different and I don't think you can update quantity on a usage-based subscription. Just to double-check though: can you give me the ID of the Billing Portal session you're using?
Sure! Here you go: bps_1O88ITBmXfj91N0tVXxE7vTU
I just want to emphasize that i haven't activated "Usage is metered". Because you mentioned "usage" in your reply.
Do you have a screenshot of the user's billing portal so I can see what you're seeing?
Or a URL I can visit to see it on my end would be even better
removed 🙂
As you can see, the quantity of 3 is displayed but not editable.
The second plan you can see called "Repuxation - Multi" is using Volume Pricing but that's not really what I want.
Especially because you can't retrieve the price with Volume Pricing
Nevermind, I am sorry - I have found the issue!
Ah, okay. For some reason, when you updated the Billing Portal configuration through the dashboard, it looks like you might have selected the wrong price to be updated.
In you Billing Portal config, you can see that the Price that's allowed to be updated is Price for Repuxation - Multi price_1O6awVBmXfj91N0tmPYRhC39, but this Customer is currently subscribed to this : Price RepuxationTest - Standard price_1O6D6yBmXfj91N0tejT58GmO
Was I right?
Exactly
Yea you were
I simply forgot to add the second subscription in the configuration of the customer portal
Thanks for your help mate! J
Just out of curiosity - you are actually an employee of Stripe and this is one of your customer support channels?
Yup! This channel is for Stripe developers to talk to Stripe users about code/integrations/bugs etc.
Specifically designed for devs
Yea I thought so - that's absolutely amazing to be honest.
Thanks for your help and I hope you have a great rest of your work day!
