return to merchant button shows up after autherising the payment in alipay.I do not need this as when user clicks on it they get redirected to the return url without the url having intent params from stripe.

If possible just disable or remove the return to merchant button

Just to clarify, the button that you refer to is the one shown in test payment page, am I right?

OK, in production, the page will be served from Alipay, and we have no control on how Alipay presents the UI.
And there's no option to disable the button in test mode.
