hi! please don't share your email address on a public channel

#

as for the problem, do you write your own code to integrate with Stripe(are you a developer) or are you using a plugin of some kind?

#

@thin rover are you there?

thin rover
#

Yes I’m here.

sonic sluice
#

thanks! can you answer my question above so we can try to help?

thin rover

We are working with Restolabs, a client of ours. I think we use our own code.

sonic sluice
#

ok, what does that code look like? how do you create the Stripe PaymentIntent and what code do you use on the frontend to render the payment form?

thin rover
#

Client of yours* I meant

#

We are not developers. The developers are with Restolabs.

# thin rover Client of yours* I meant

Restolabs is not a client of Stripe, that's not how it works. Stripe is a platform for accepting payments, Restolab as far as I see is an independent company that builds a software solution for payments, on top of Stripe using our platform, and then they sell that solution to businesses like you. They ultimately control how your payment form looks and how it behaves

#

yeah you need to contact them and ask how to configure payment methods in their software platform

#

changing the settings on your Stripe dashboard does not necessairly control what the payment form on your website displays, since those settings only apply when using a certain means of integrating Stripe, and that might not be the way Restolab's software works. You need to work with them as their customer/your payments software vendor to resolve this, Stripe can't help directly.

hope that helps!

#

Okay thanks for the help. Can I come back to you later?

sonic sluice
#

not me personally but you can post in the main channel. I don't think we can actually help though

#

this channel is specifically for developers writing their own code to call the Stripe APIs and SDKs to get help(i.e. it's more somewhere where a developer who works for a company like Restolab would ask a question), we can't really help in your case on this channel

#

like I said this is between you and your plugin/payments platform provider

thin rover
#

Would be helpful if we had an support contact of yours, to constantly assist with our matter.

sonic sluice
#

we don't control how your payments page renders and what options it has, that's something the plugin / platform who is providing your payments solution is controlling. So please work with them.

thin rover
#

Can we maybe organize a call with you and the developers team of Restolabs?

sonic sluice
#

not really no

thin rover
#

To further discuss and get rid of the problem

#

We try to solve our problem here. Everything should work on our side, as well as Restolabs. There has to be a problem somewhere in between.

sonic sluice
#

yep, as I said, it's something Restolabs can help with

#

my answer, and the only answer we are able to give you is the following :

"changing the settings on your Stripe dashboard does not necessairly control what the payment form on your website displays, since those settings only apply when using a certain means of integrating Stripe, and that might not be the way Restolab's software works. You need to work with them as their customer/your payments software vendor to resolve this, Stripe can't help directly. "
