Hi! Let me help you with this.

#

Could you please share more context around what you're trying to do?

Yes we need to store card holder data in our own platform not in Stripes. If we create network tokens my understanding is we would pass the token in the PAN field to Stripe when we process a payment. First is that correct.

Is there any docs you're following on this?

No we have been told this is the way it works by Visa and Mastercard

I am not sure how external network tokens would work with Stripe.

Is there anyone else at Stripe we can ask?

Let me check this.

#

Where are you getting the tokens from?

Are you PCI Compliant ?

latent nova

We have an API to the brands and yes we are Level 1 PCI

#

We are your telephone payment capture partner Paytia

but for visa/mastercard tokens I'm not sure if there is a public availble API, maybe something private I'm not sure

#

Yet who told you you can use Mastercard/Visa tokens with Stripe APIs ?

yeah network tokens are something we support in some fashion, but it's mainly for larger and sold users so we don't know much here. Do you have an AE you can ask?

#

please don't name private emplyees on a public server

#

anyway, that seems like a good next step!
