I’m trying to cross sell it with https://buy.stripe.com/test_cN203n7fIfKNgMMaEF ’s main product
Use your API credits with our easy-to-use Discord bot, where you can test different models easily with no code. Gives access to premium models like GPT-4, Aurora, (only on Discord) and more coming soon.
Sorry, I will actually need the Payment Link ID.

Is the cross-sell item also "customer chooses the price?"
No
I am not sure Cross-sells are supported in Payment Links. Does it work with other prices?
Yes
Sounds good, I will look in to what is happening here and get back to you
Custom amounts (choose your own price) don't support multiple line items in Checkout, so it's not possible for a cross-sell item to be added
I'm going to file some feedback to make this more clear in the "customer chooses amount" docs
As a possible alternative, I'd suggest you consider changing your custom amount to an adjustable quantity for the base price
ie, instead of the current $50 default, you could set a price with a block of $10 and default to quantity=5 but let the customer adjust that
Please note this in the Cross Sell docs too
Thanks
An example would perhaps look like this: https://buy.stripe.com/test_cN229wfyZe1KaYgbII
The limitation is related to the custom amount, not the cross sell
Thanks. I think I’ll stick to the original setup until cross-sells are supported with “customer chooses price” payments.
Also, do you know how to deny requests without a valid customer ID, as that is what we use to add credits to users? If that isn’t possible, do you recommend another pathway?
Hi taking over here. What do you mean by Also, do you know how to deny requests without a valid customer ID, as that is what we use to add credits to users? If that isn’t possible, do you recommend another pathway? exactly? If you pass a customer id in our api right now that's not valid, the request should not succeed
I meant client_reference_id
