I understand that at any point there should be 1 payout account associated to FBO
Is it possible that payout bank/ card account can be deleted?
Is this for your own Stripe account, or are you working with Stripe Connect?
I am account.external_account.deleted webhook
as of now i could see that when i update payout external account information, account.external_account.deleted is getting triggered
Wanted to know if the enquired scenario is also a possibility
Sorry, I don't think that answers what I asked. If you have a webhook endpoint listening for account.external_account.deleted Events, does that mean that you're working with Stripe Connect, and you're asking about managing External Accounts for your Connected Accounts?

Gotcha, in that case the owner of the Connected Account handles the management of the External Accounts, you as the Platform will not be able to act on those on their behalf.
right. as the owner of the connected account i was able to change the external account, but i was not allowed to delete the external account

Gotcha, that isn't something we're too familiar with in this forum, because that's not something that can be done via the API (which is our focus in this forum).
My belief is that it is not possible to only delete the External Account, as the Connected Account needs an External Account to receive Payouts. But I would recommend double checking with our Support team who I believe is more familiar with those type of account management questions than we are.
