Are you a Connect user? Or just only accepting payments on your platform account?

Thank you for reacting. I'm not sure. I registered Stripe through Calendly. I now want to use Stripe to collect payments from clients (I do marketing consultancy).

So I want to create payment links and send them the invoice with payment link straight away.

#

Connect seems to be for large businesses... I as a solo entrepreneur don't need that right?

#

So the latter. 🙂

#

I think I got what I wanted. I found the invoice section.

Hello! I'm taking over and catching up...

#

If you're creating Payment Links via the Stripe Dashboard they should be using automatic payment methods by default. You said, "Stripe tells me to replace manual to automatic_payment_methods." Where did Stripe tell you to do that? What specifically did Stripe say?

Hi! Thank you for reacting.

#

I will send you a screenshot. Hold on

#

I would love to be able to just send links to clients.

You mentioned Calendly; if you're not a developer and you don't have a direct integration I'm betting that notice applies to the requests they're making on your account.

I'm not a dev. I signed up for Calendly and then signed up for Stripe as my payment provider.

#

I'm familiar with links. I created one and the payer could only pay with credit card.

Cards, Apple pay, Google Pay, IDeal

#

and Klarna

It's possible the Payment Link you created is configured in a way that made some of those options unavailable. Perhaps the amount was too small for Klarna, for example?

It was €300

#

So I don't think that's the case.
