so your friend must not have Google Pay set up properly in their browser for example, or is logged into Link, or something like that. Seems all good anyway.

you will not see Google and Apple Pay on the same page at the same time

Apple Pay appears if you're using Safari on a Mac, etc. Google Pay appears if you're using Chrome.
