Phase 0 is the current phase, so it will always be added if the subscription schedule is created from the existing subscription.

sorry i had an error on my description, i was refering to the POST /v1/subscription_schedules/{sub_sch_id} that is done just after creating the schedule from a subscription. I see what you say that creating the schedule creates the current phase automatically, so i understand that defininghthat phase0 when i update the subscription schedule, is meant to redefine the current phase that is automatically created by the original subscription_schedules, and that is mandatory

am i right?

Are you looking to create subscription schedule from API or Dashboard? If API is used, it's not necessary to terminate the phase 0 immediately. You may update the phase 0 to end at the end of the phase with iterations=1 and set new price in phase 1

will do with API, the dashboard interactions were meant only to have real examples to solve some doubts
