I understand that. But I don't want to collect payments or force my clients to fill out such onboarding information. Is there a means of achieving that?

Can you share your platform account ID (acct_xxx)? You can find your account ID by logging in to https://dashboard.stripe.com/settings/account. It'll be in the upper right hand corner and looks like acct_123

i think what you need to keep in mind is that a new Standard connect account will always have to fill up all the relevant onboarding information.

If you're connecting to an existing account, then they won't have to fill up all of those existing info again.

Since you only want to read data and not write, change your scope to in that link to scope=read_only
