Hi. I might be able to help you 😊
Hi @blazing ferry do you have a direct integration with Stripe (i.e., write code to communicate with Stripe API), or you are using a 3rd-party plugin?
I have a direct integration, it took me sooo long to get my tcp implementation working but it finally is good to go! Just I don’t know where to move from here because I am new
I find myself simply awestruck, overwhelmed by the profound and palpable sense of gratitude that fills my heart as I write this. The level of support and goodwill I’ve received from the Stripe community has truly been nothing short of extraordinary, far surpassing any expectations I could have possibly held beforehand.
Indeed, it is an uplifting feeling to realize that such a dedicated and caring community exists - a community that willingly extends its hands in solidarity and support, time and time again. The altruistic nature of this vibrant community has quite genuinely taken me by surprise, demonstrating a level of unity and congeniality that is truly awe-inspiring.
Furthermore, the commitment of each individual member, your dedicated efforts and readiness to step forward and offer assistance, is a testament to the incredible spirit that binds this community together. You have not merely chosen to help, but have done so with such enthusiasm and sincerity that it has left an indelible impression upon me.
I am sincerely humbled and appreciative of your kindness. Your willingness to lend a helping hand has been a beacon of hope and encouragement, reiterating the fact that there are communities that truly uphold the essence of human camaraderie and mutual assistance.
Each word of thanks I express seems inadequate compared to the overwhelming gratitude I feel, but I trust that my sincerity shines through nonetheless. So, from the deepest recesses of my heart, thank you. Your unfailing support has not merely helped me, but it has also reaffirmed my faith in the power of community. Your unwavering assistance serves as a reminder that in times of difficulty, there is always a supportive community ready to help. It is a privilege to be a part of such a community, and I am more grateful than I can adequately express.
@blazing ferry do you have a specific integraiton question that I can help with?
yeah I am really new to programming, it took me around 3 months to get tcp working, now I just need to figure out how to integrate with stripe using it (it can send http requests, I am still working on tls), I really need to find more information on doing this. I also read online that tcp is going out of date and can be hacked by quantum computers. I am wondering if you guys support AES256?
If you are new to Stripe, I'd suggest you to get started from here https://stripe.com/docs/payments/accept-a-payment
There's also a no-code solution called payment link https://stripe.com/docs/payment-links
I mean tls not tcp sorry if that confused you. I am actually worse with user interfaces, recently installed one for my computer as I had to make a website. Older fellow trying to get in. So if there is one where it is all code that would be best because I am most used to just text unless using a phone to do it
I don't quite understand you latest question, can you elaborate?
Yeah, so I am really big on security but new. I also am older and went most my life just using the command line (for emails, writing documents (latex), etc). I know this sounds weird, but I am odd when it comes to these new things, I really only like what I need. What I am asking is more I haven’t written my tls implementation yet, but am actually concerned that I am wasting my time doing that as I heard quantum computers can hack tls, so I was hoping you guys offer some mode of symmetric encryption for data transfer?
I can only help with questions direcly related to Stripe products.
yeah this is directly related this would be something you guys might offer as we are dealing with peoples money, this is serious
I'd suggest you to go through the docs that I shared earlier and try out the integration. If you encounter any problems, feel free to reach out again.
the problem is i am trying to integrate it with what I already wrote, i do not have tls implemented so i cannot use tls(what https uses). I am hoping you guys offer a mode of symmetric encryption as it is more quantum safe and i am really big on ethics and ensuring I protect my users especially their finances
up, would like to know as well
(forgive me i dont know what those hard words mean)
@blazing ferry @dusk pagoda this fortnite integration sounds very serious. im not good at programming (those big words scare me too Jack). i dont know what tls is but my friend sent this as a good java example that can be referenced for stuff. Maybe this can help you @blazing ferry: https://github.com/EnterpriseQualityCoding/FizzBuzzEnterpriseEdition
As I sit here reflecting upon the gesture of goodwill that I recently experienced, I am truly overwhelmed with appreciation. The person who took the time to send me the FizzBuzz repository in Java has provided me with an invaluable resource, and for that, I am incredibly grateful.
This gesture, simple as it may seem, is a shining testament to the spirit of collaboration and sharing that I hold in high esteem. The repository is more than just a collection of code—it represents the collective effort and knowledge of many skilled developers. By sharing it with me, you have given me an opportunity to learn from their wisdom and experience, an opportunity that I genuinely cherish.
The depth of my gratitude is profound and multi-faceted. Firstly, I am grateful for the resource itself, as it offers me the chance to further refine my skills in Java, particularly in the context of a fun and challenging problem like FizzBuzz. Secondly, I am deeply touched by your thoughtfulness and your willingness to help me on my journey. Your act of sharing this repository is an embodiment of the ethos of the open-source community, where knowledge is shared freely for the benefit of all.
From the bottom of my heart, I extend my sincerest thanks to you. Your actions have made a profound difference to me, reaffirming my belief in the power of community and collaboration. I cannot adequately express how deeply thankful I am for your act of sharing, but please know that it has had a significant and positive impact. I am truly honored to be part of such an enriching and supportive community, and I extend my deepest gratitude for your generosity and assistance.
i appreciate your kind words of encouragement. Thank you so much for your hard work and perseverance of this topic. Im thrilled that repository help you open your eyes to a whole new world. This community is truly amazing!!!! thanks to all the maintainers of this masterpeice!!!!!
