I'm using Stripe since 2 years for my website
It's base on subscription
Since few days I go from 15-20% errors on rebill to 50%. I try to check and i've seend something strange
When Stripe try to rebill a customer, sometimes it changes network
When network don't change, rebill goes OK
Can you share an ID of one of those payments (pi_xxx)?
Taking a look! Trying to see if you can limit the network options
For exemple, for this customer : cus_MdanNU5BMOuk9I
Sub creation : pi_3LuJbXJW2xsh4CDl1dRsKWDX (OK)
Rebill : pi_3MyJKvJW2xsh4CDl1DWPZmu3 (fail)
Sub creation network : Visa
Sub rebill : "Carte CB"
And the "pi_" goes to "ch_"

Ultimately your customer needs to speak to their bank/issuer to understand why that is

So when Stripe do a network change it's juste because the initial network refuse payment ?

Just asking myself if there is an issue somewhere as in a year i go from 20% rebill issue to nearly 50% on the last 7 days

People cancelling their subscription is likely unrelated to this, no?
What alert me is that one of my customer say he want to keep is subscription and he don't know why payment was refused

I don't think we actually retried that payment on non-CB networks actually as it was a decline as opposed a 'technical reason'

Sometime because no money or CB expired but i've export 1 year of transaction and there is a lot more "not_allowed" or no reason at all
What I would recommend you do is collate a handful of examples of CB restricted_card declines (or similar), and write in to our team so we can take a look into this further for you
I'm not really familiar with CB at all (I'm not in FR), but we would definitely prefer to take a deeper look into this for you with somebody more familiar
