Hi there, Is your Stripe account based in US? I don't think LKR is a settlement currency that a US Stripe account supports.
Yes it is based in US
I am on test mode and I am able to manually make transfers to a connect account. Although I have to enter a USD amount and Stripe converts it to LKR and adds it to the connect account
Instead of this I want to enter the LKR value to ensure that exact value is transfered to the connect account
And is the connected account based in US as well?
No the connected account is based in Sri Lanka
Hence the default currency for it is LKr
I don't think you can create a connected account in Sri Lanka yet
But it has created
Can you copy and paste the account ID here?
Have you encountered an actual issue when creating a Transfer? You should be able to transfer to Sri Lankan accounts as US platform, but there will be FX
There is no issue in the transfer itself. I am able to for example create a transfer of 10USD. But instead I want to enter the exact value in LKR. Example 15000LKR
These are just test accounts, will that be ok?
Sign in to the Stripe Dashboard to manage business payments and operations in your account. Manage payments and refunds, respond to disputes and more.
That's not possible I'm afraid. Your US account can only accrue USD balances, so if you transfer to a non-USD account (i.e. Sri Lanka) we will do the conversion
