hi
Every other processor has their own process, so there isn't just one that works for all of them
What should I do?
I dont understand any of this stuff
i dont even understand what the difference between processor and gateway is
i just have stripe now
and i have amazon payment services
Hey @candid pagoda I 'm stepping in for @stray oyster who needs to step away shortly. I can help if you have particular integration questions, but this is a pretty broad ask at this point.
hii please
Are you trying to do something specific and having difficulty?
yes
i want to know how to like connect 2 into one invoice
from stripe and others
I can't really advice on general reconciliation or managing two payment streams
What do you mean by that?
What exactly are you trying to do?
in one integrated invoice
One Stripe invoice?
i want my customers to have 1 invoice
which includes many things
stipres payment methods
ande the payment methods of my other gateways i have
instead of sending them 2-3 invoices
i want to add them all into one invoice
i talked to customer support and she sent me to the stripe paertner page and said i need to work with a
third party" provider or something
i didnt understand anything
and the page she sent me has like 200 companies
?
I have Stripe and other payment gateways
How do I connect the two to send my customers invoices?
Our customers receive invoices through their email, but can only receive one or the other (Stripe or another gateways invoice) How do I combine all the methods from each gateway into one invoice?
this is my question
hello
You can control the details of what you invoice your customers using the API, you can set invoice items for anything you need
You'll need to manage code to any kind of bridging between services
i dont understand
Or as suggested, work with a partner who can do that for you, there is nothing that does what you're asking "off the shelf"
You can learn about using the Invoicing APi by starting here: https://stripe.com/docs/invoicing/integration
You control the invoice items you need the customer to pay for
nono not the items
we want to include OTHER payment types into the stripe invoice
like for example i have american express with payfort (amazon payment services)
but i dont want to send my customers 2 invoices
i want to add AMEX to one invoice
or vice verca
You can see which of our supported payment methods support Invoicing here: https://stripe.com/docs/payments/payment-methods/integration-options#payment-method-product-support
What do you mean by adding other payment types to the Stripe invoice?
You can only collect payment via Stripe using payment methods we support
You can collect payments using other mechanisms outside of Stripe if you need to, and then mark an invoice as paid
put stripes methods into the other invoice
What exactly do you mean?
If you're building your own UI, you could integrate any Stripe payment methods into that if needed
But I don't know how any other providers invoice solutions work
i dont know what that means my own UI
im sorry this is so confusing
i just need to be able to create an invoice that has the options that stripes gives me, and options that others give me too
Ok, then that's probably something you need to build yourself, with a custom integration. You can develop this using our API + the API of whatever other providers you need.
If you're not able to build this yourself, that's why our support team pointed you toward some integration partners you can contract to build it for you.
so how does that work do i have to pay them one time fee to build it? or monthly subscription?> or how
Yes, you'd need to pay them to build this, the structure of those payments I couldn't say. You'll need to reach out to some to get quotes etc based on what you need.
