I've manage to receive the front & back image from the verification session report and when I'm trying to upload the image to update persons I get an error saying "The file must be entered as a file upload ID"

Can you tell me a bit more about how you are doing that at the moment? I am not seeing how to get those files from the session. I am less familiar with this API but I thought that that info wasn't made available like that

Well I'm trying to update the person with the file ID but I get an error saying Try uploading a new file with a valid purpose: `identity_document`, `document_provider_identity_document`.

So for using Identity with Connect you need to have access as it is invite-only. See: https://stripe.com/docs/connect/additional-verifications

So you will want to reach out to our Support team to get access to that
