Hello, good question. Would it be feasible to have a test account and a live account here? I am not very familiar with out firebase extension but I can consult a colleague if that pattern isn't feasible

I'm not really sure what you're asking for, but there isn't an easy way to create test Firebase accounts

Ah gotcha. I will ask my colleague who is more familiar with Firebase if there is a good way to be able to have a test and prod env at the same time with firebase

It is important to clarify that I'm using the official 'Run Payments with Stripe' extension. It was heavily pushed as a solution for easier Stripe Integration.

The challenge is that within Firebase, it is common to have everything configured within a 'Single Project' because you can develop locally within the Firebase Emulators. This allows you to easily setup multiple configurations.

I conferred with my colleague and they said that having an extra app/instance is the way to go here. I can put in feedback about how this is unusual compared to other Firebase extensions but unfortunately the Firebase extension isn't that actively developed now so I don't know if we'll be able to make changes to support that kind of local testing.
