Apple mentioned this link: https://developer.apple.com/design/human-interface-guidelines/technologies/apple-pay/buttons-and-marks
Hi, this is continue of #dev-help message
Yes, this is the first time we see that Apple rejects with such reason... But they send us this screenshot and saying that this Apple Pay logo is not according to their branding rules. We have been using Stripe for quite long time and today we got 2 rejections with same reason. This is apparently a new issue that Apple forces now.
Hi there 👋 oh, so you two are working together, gotcha.
We used this Stripe SDK ui for 3 years
today Apple started to decline
and also you receive decline from another client
Just to clarify, you're saying that Apple provided you with that explicit screenshot saying that screen is the problem?
Yes, I will send you full Apple's message in few seconds
As you can see, there is rejection attachments at the bottom and it is this screenshot... As we stated before, this is Stripe's prebuilt ui. That apple pay icon is used by Stripe and apparently it is no longer approved by Apple.
PS: Just to confirm, we do not have any other apple pay icon or logo within the project. I can guarantee you that the issue is about this screen of Stripe's library.

Thank you for that clarification, I'm reaching out to our teams to see if they're aware of this. Have you already filed this as an issue against the repo that I can point them to?
I only answered this to Apple: We are using https://stripe.com native UI view and we are not able to change any design there. We didn't put that icon there.
But Apple still answered the same and rejected update.
I'm gathering information on this, can you both please let me know which version of our SDK you're including in your apps?
No, we haven't filed an issue in github repo.
We are currently using stripe-ios library v22.8.3
We are using latest Stripe version v22.8.3
To clarify, are using 22.8.3 or our latest version (23.1.1)?
Correct. Stripe cut support for iOS 12 in version 23.0.0
Therefore we can't update to version 23.
Stripe v23.0.0 supports minimum version of iOS 13 now.
Is the logo somehow changed according to Apple's logo in v23.1.1 ?
I don't know, right now I'm trying to collect the specific details of your occurrence so I can provide that information to the teams that are more familiar with these flows.
