Hey there, I suspect you're seeing this when you create a price

This is now functionality we recommend setting on the subscription each time, and not having a default on the price

#

We support the price default trial for users who were previously using this in Plans, though

#

We suggest instead using trial_end/trial_period_days on the Subscription itself

I see, I got 2 questions:

Is this only available via api calls and not from the dashboard?

It says that "no payment method is required for the customer" does this mean that customers are not automatically charged at the end of their trial period, since we have not captured their card details?

You can also set trial periods when creating subscriptions in the dashboard

And yes that's correct, the payment method is optional for trials since no payment is needed, but you'd need to colelct one prior to trial end to allow for recurring payments
