The coupon is applied to the subscription_schedule and not to the subscription in your case, the two object are related but not the same

But the schedule itself has no coupon field, am I getting something wrong? I was always passing the coupon to the phases, and it worked well so far, the upcoming phases all have their coupons applied. Only the currently running phase has its coupon missing after the update. Should i pass the coupon_id for the current phase again though it is not changed?

When doing an update on the subscription_schedule, with the current phase, yes, you need to set the coupon to the current phase

Ok, thank you. Does this apply to other properties of the current phase too? As I said, I so far thought, I can omit everything that is meant to be unchanged.

For subscription_schedule, you are updating the phasesfield not just the items of the phases, so if you set only two phases and previously you have 3 phases, then you'll have 3 phases at the ends. In other word for phases you need to set all of them when updaing it
