Is there a way to see if in Live mode any emails were sent?
we test these features for you so you don't have to test in live mode
but if you really want to you can setup a customer for yourself with a soon to be expired card
note that the email will be sent 1month prior to expiration
so if you enter a card that expires in Sept. you wouldn't receive an email since those emails are usually sent in August

Or a better question is - does this feature depend on my integration, or once the checkbox is ticket, it will work by default?
I'm just not sure in my integration I'm manually (from code) creating payment methods and linking it to the customer. But in Customer Billing portal their card is available, so I'd assume it should work
