Oh yeah for sure. Is it generally recommended to start with stripe checkout? like are there any clear advantages for payment intent api besides more customisation?

In my opinion customization is the biggest one you get from using Payment Intents directly - if you're looking for a simple/quick solution then I'd definitely go with Checkout

If you're using the Payment Intents w/ our pre-built Stripe elements (like Payment Element and Card Element) then yes!
