Thank you.
hey DJ, do you mind keeping all of your Qs in one place?
Hi Tarzan. I was asking two separate questions.
I will take over the thread for @glacial basalt since it's a bit busy
but happy to add all questions to this thread.
yes but it would be easier to handle all of your Qs in one place
I'll delete my previous message.
thanks ๐
On the topic of local payment methods such as (iDEAL / Multibanco / Bancontact) is it possible to do multi-currency charges? I.e present and charge the currency in the buyers local currency? - For example for an iDEAL or Multibanco charge can you present and issue the charge in GBP and settle in Euros? Or do we need to present and charge in Euros? TIA. My assumption reading from reading the docs is the charge has Euros which would mean the price would therefore have to be presented in Euros correct?
Done ๐
thanks
I'll answer those in a later stage
let's go back to your first Q
could you please elaborate more?
Regarding my first question.
Does anyone know how we can simulate the "redirect to the multibanco website" portion.
Oh now I see
there's a Q there ๐
So on the diagram above ^ there is a flow to pay via the banking flow. We'd like to understand how we can simulate this.
this is how you do the redirect
Got it thanks.
are you using Checkout?
We're not. It's a direct API integration
oh then it's not possible
Got it. Thanks.
Regarding the redirect flow to multibanco.
Is this something that as developers you can choose to either A) Present the entity number to the customer or B) Redirect the buyer
Hi there ๐ I'm jumping in as my teammate needed to step away. Just to make sure we're aligned, could you help me understand which piece of the Multibanco flow that you're referring to?
I was referring to the Multibanco source creation.
When a multibanco source is created, it mentions you can send the customer to the redirect_url
but there is also the option to present them an entity / reference number.
Apologies for the delay, since this is a beta flow I don't know it as well and needed to do a little digging.
