if I understood you correctly, you just want to generate the invoices in Stripe and pay them elsewhere?

normal spoke
#

Correct

#

I guess we could just not share the invoice link with the customer

#

And just show them the PDF

#

We just don't want these connect accounts getting un-expected percentage Stripe fees, plus the fact they may not be verified on stripe. (We're planning to create their standard account on their behalf without them having access to it, but allow them to claim it if they want to at a later date)

#

Hope that makes sense

I don't know where to start, but these are really not recommended things to do

Then you can use Destination Charges instead of Direct Charges, and the platform will pay the Stripe fees

Why not use Express instead?

then you shouldn't use Standard Accounts

#

Standard Accounts are intended to be used as Standalone even if they are attached to a Platform

#

again, I'm terribly sorry to cut this conversation short, but this is outside of the scope of what we can help with on this channel which is implementation/dev related questions

#

I hope you understand

Yeah, if I remember correctly we were originally using standard accounts because it suited our use case at the time, a few years ago now. I'll look into express accounts in more detail. Thanks for that.

#

I'll also reach out to Support and see if they can help out. Thanks for the help!
