It's the old one. And yes it should not ask for ZIP if the card is not from US
May I ask where Can I set the country for the card ?
First why use an old integration. We have Payment Element which can support a lot more payment methods
And I don't think you should limit country. You want your customer to pay by any country credit card
I see but let's say I am using a Australian Card but how would the card element know that I don't need to include a ZIP number ?
It detect automatically
I see
so as a merchant you don't need to worry about that
Hi @latent osprey, can you tell me where can I find the github repo for the new payment element for reference? Thanks
Because I want to limit the user to pay with Credit card only
Sure here you are: https://stripe.com/docs/payments/accept-a-payment?platform=web&ui=elements
Well you can still use PaymentElement to only accept credit card
But in the future if you want to support more, it would be way easy if you use PaymentElement, vs you would need to re-implement many things if you use Card Element
so it's recommended for flexibility
Hi Orakaro, are there any testing card number that are for australia
No, we don't have test country specific test cards
