That's what the documentation mentioned yes: "where the original authorization’s amount and merchant_amount are lowered. Surplus held funds are released back to your available balance immediately."

For the partial reversal I want to know If there was any thing extra except lower amount and lower merchant amount.

What I am thinking is that :
If partial reversal happens and If the status also update to reversed then user will get back x2 funds.

becuase I have written the code in this manner.

if status is reversed user will credit the whole funds.
If amount lower and merchant amount lower then user receive surplus.

Let say,
If status also updates on partial reversed so both codes will work and user will funds x2
