Best Weapon(s):

Skyward Atlas (DPS)
Skyward Atlas is Heizou’s general Best-in-Slot weapon for his personal damage owing to the large attack stats it supplies.

Sacrificial Fragments R3+ (DPS)
The additional skill charge, coupled with the additional swirls instances, composes a potent weapon that is comparable to other 5 star catalyst options — even when the added skill is left unstacked.

Widsith (DPS)
Since each buff the weapon passive provides works well on Heizou, Widsith — at high refinements — has the ability to be on-par with his 5 star options. However, owing to the 30s buff trigger cooldown, 5 star options still pull ahead when the note buffs are averaged.

Thrilling Tales of Dragon Slayers (Support)
Since the weapon passive limits the flexibility of rotations in order to utilise its strong single-character buff, players are encouraged to run this weapon only when playing an already rotation-strict team.

Replacement Weapon:

Mappa Mare (DPS)
A strong F2P weapon that is very competitive with the other 4 star options, in addition to having an easy to maintain weapon passive. For those without the liberty of catalyst options, using a billet to craft the Mappa Mare for Heizou is a solid course of action.

Solar Pearl (DPS)
A decent weapon with a passive that, as a whole, works well with Heizou’s kit. However, it is not advisable to purchase the battle pass purely for the crit mainstat because Mappa Mare, at high refines, performs similarly while being a F2P option.

Prototype Amber (Support)
Prototype Amber has a unique passive that aids healer-less teams with micro-heals in addition to managing his ER requirements when Heizou can only manage to use one skill per burst. The value of the energy refund weapon passive greatly depends on if the player has his C4, which would provides a large reduction to his ER requirements.

• Increases Swirl DMG by 60%. Decreases opponent's Elemental RES to the element infused in the Swirl by 40% for 10s.

Best Weapon(s):

Mistplitter Reforged
Best in slot in drip and in combat. High base ATK, CRIT DMG and a powerful passive that Keqing can easily trigger.

Replacement Weapon:

Primordial Jade Cutter, Haran Geppaku Futsu, Summit Shaper
5-star options that all rank very closely in terms of Keqing's damage output. Summit Shaper is the worst of the lot and requires a shield to make full use of, but is still better than 4-star options even if you don't have a shield.

Aquila Favonia, The Black Sword, Lion's Roar
Aquila is only an option because of its 5-star statline, but it is noticeably worse than all other 5-stars. The Black Sword is the go-to in this bracket if you can get it as it has a high CRIT Rate substat and a decent passive. Lion's Roar can be better (and is generally stronger with refines) if you can maintain full uptime on its passive, although it does not fall off too much even without full uptime unless you constantly remove Electro from the enemy.

Kagotsurube Isshin
This sword from Kazuha's story quest is the best true F2P option. Use this if you can't afford to get The Black Sword or Lion's Roar.

Hunter’s Path
Tighnari’s signature weapon and his Best-in-Slot when opting to focus on his personal damage. Do note that an EM sands is more preferred over an ATK% sands as it synergies well with the weapon passive.

Elegy for the End
Very capable weapon on Tighnari — especially in scenarios where he requires relatively high Energy Recharge to burst consistently — since the buffs supplied is actually significant on him. Moreover, the buff provided by the weapon’s passive also strengthens teammates, conferring more value to the weapon.

Replacement Weapon:

Prototype Crescent, The Stringless, Slingshot
Satisfactory weapons that all perform well on Tighnari.
The Stringless is better in situations where he does not utilize his charged shots while Prototype Crescent and Slingshot are better when charged shotting, albeit with conditional passives that want to be proc’d and/ or maintained.

Best Artifact Set:

4 Gilded Dreams, 4 Wanderer’s Troupe
When charge shotting on Tighnari, Gilded Dreams and Wanders Troupe perform neaely identical to one another. Thus, it is recommended to run the 4 set with better substats.

Kazuha’s signature weapon which is also the best weapon in terms of both his personal damage, and his support capabilities.

Favonius Sword
Provides extreme comfort with an ER mainstat, as well as a passive that aids in further reducing his ER requirements, alongside his team’s. When using this weapon, crit rate substats are a high priority in order to proc the passive more consistently.

Replacement Weapon:

Iron Sting
Best option 4 star option for kazuha’s personal damage when Kazuha and a strong buffing weapon when he does not require much ER and/ or he can get enough ER from substats while running EM/EM/EM.

Dark Iron Sword
Provides slightly less EM than Iron Sting but is still a very competitive option — especially for players who do not have the billets or want to save the billets to craft a different weapon, namely Amenoma Kageuchi, instead.

Sacrificial Sword
An ER stat stick which allows for chaining multiple skill uses in one window. However, using the additional skill cast runs into the same issue as his C1; taking more field time that orherwise could have been better utilised by the team’s On-Field DPS units.
Since Kazuha only deals one elemental skill damage instance, the weapon passive would be very unreliable to proc at lower refinements, with higher refinements aiding but still proc’ing the passive inconsistently.

Completely unrivalled (but also far from necessary - don't spend money on png like me), it increases the value of HP on her even more. She will practically always be below 50%, so its passive will be fully active. A CRIT Rate circlet is recommended.

4 Star Options:
Dragon's Bane
EM stat and extra DMG Bonus are great on Hu Tao. Its low Base Attack doesn't matter as much due to her Elemental Skill's buff. The extra EM increases her damage in Overvape teams, and makes Dragon's Bane even better.

Deathmatch
Pretty unconditionally good, helps soothe Hu Tao's eternal hunger for more CRIT Rate substats.

Replacement Weapon:

Primordial Jade Winged-Spear
Hu Tao can stack the passive relatively slowly. The ATK% is still valuable, but not as good as on other characters.

Lithic Spear
Somewhat conditional. This position is based on running both Hu Tao and Xingqiu. Running more Liyue characters or higher refinements will move this weapon much further up, to the point that an R5 4Liyue spear is her second best option after Staff of Homa. As Hu Tao tends to run lots of Liyue characters like Yelan and Zhongli, the spear can be very effective.

White Tassel R5
Hu Tao's dual scaling makes a 3 star weapon good on her. Most other weapons listed here are only ~10% more damage than it, and it is about as good as a Blackcliff Pole.

Since Eula's damage does not rely on reactions, having higher ATK stats/buffs greatly increase her damage. Wolf's Gravestone's passive and naturally high ATK stat as a 5* weapon makes it comparable to her signature weapon. Luxurious Sealord and Akuaoumaru are a great options, boosting her Elemental Burst damage alongside their ATK% substat. Prototype Archaic is a last resort if you have no other weapons.

Serpent Spine
A battle pass weapon with a CRIT rate substat and a powerful passive skill that lets it sometimes rival 5* weapons, due to it's low base ATK, ATK% buffs scale very well.
Snow-tombed Starsilver
An alternative option if you don't have billets or don't want to craft Prototype Archaic, since it is completely free. It has a high base ATK stat + Physical DMG bonus, and it's passive is especially useful when Rosaria is on the team

Raiden Shogun | Playstyle

DPS
Raiden's primary role is to create energy for the team in most situations. She can also become an extraordinary hypercarry with more investment in her cons and weapon but her playstyle stays consistent regardless as it just changes what units are used with her.

Her Elemental Skill boosts the Burst Dmg of all allies on the team and has infinite uptime as long as you're getting Raiden in to refresh it every 25 seconds.

Raiden's Elemental Burst is obviously her main draw though as it turns her into a Electro Dmg dealing sword unit with massive energy production and solid dmg. This is empowered by her Resolve stacks which are granted when allies use energy by casting their Bursts. Important to ensure she has the most stacks possible before activating her own Burst.

With all that in mind, you should generally use Raiden in the following rotation:

Use Raiden's Elemental Skill (E)
Activate any Elemental Bursts (Q) you have available
Activate Raiden's Elemental Burst (Q).
Repeat.

There are many combo options available to Raiden during her burst but the general recommendation is N3C which means 3 normal attacks, 1 charged attack, repeat. This as well as other options are covered in more detail in the Keqing Mains article linked below.

Hyperbloom
Most of Raiden's function as a Hyperbloom unit is simply keeping her Elemental Skill up as it triggers a coordinated attack with an AoE that will trigger Cores while boosting Burst Dmg. She requires very little field time and has no Energy needs or combos required since you won't be using her Burst.

The Energy Recharge needed will be anywhere between 100% to 180% based on what battery you are running or if you are running no battery at all. The 51.8% of Energy Recharge Sands is unnecessary when running a battery. Due to the Electro Resonance, it places her energy requirements between 120% to 140%, and if running the Emblem of Severed Fate set, the amount needed from substats is 0% to 20%.

Hits on weakspots are guaranteed to CRIT. Thus, no CRIT Rate is necessary if you're an aim god.

Best in slot in drip and in combat. High base ATK, CRIT DMG and a powerful passive that Keqing can easily trigger.

Replacement Weapon(s):

Primordial Jade Cutter, Haran Geppaku Futsu, Summit Shaper
5-star options that all rank very closely in terms of Keqing's damage output. Summit Shaper is the worst of the lot and requires a shield to make full use of, but is still better than 4-star options even if you don't have a shield.

Aquila Favonia, The Black Sword, Lion's Roar
Aquila is only an option because of its 5-star statline, but it is noticeably worse than all other 5-stars. The Black Sword is the go-to in this bracket if you can get it as it has a high CRIT Rate substat and a decent passive. Lion's Roar can be better (and is generally stronger with refines) if you can maintain full uptime on its passive, although it does not fall off too much even without full uptime unless you constantly remove Electro from the enemy.

Kagotsurube Isshin
This sword from Kazuha's story quest is the best true F2P option. Use this if you can't afford to get The Black Sword or Lion's Roar.

A potent artifact set to run on Kaeya, especially when he requires a large amount of Energy Recharge of around or over 140-150%.

Skyward Blade
When Kaeya’s Energy Requirements are high enough for Skyward Blade’s Energy Recharge stat to be worth noting, it can be a decent weapon option.

Harbinger of Dawn
The low base attack issue is largely subsided when Kaeya is played in Reverse Melt as he is usually paired with Bennett — who provides a large attack buff for Kaeya to make use of.

Amenoma Kageuchi
Still a relatively strong F2P weapon as the weapon’s ability to lower Kaeya’s Energy Requirement is appreciated in this playstyle. ( unable to capitalize on Kaeya’s A4 )

Best Artifact Set:

4 Gilded Dreams
Strictly better than 2 piece combinations as the artifact set Provides much more Elemental Mastery and Atk% stats, which are much appreciated in Reverse Melt compositions.

4 Lavawalker
Usually having almost 100% uptime on the pyro aura, the 4 set effect is maintained rather easily but the artifact set is not something worth farming on Kaeya specifically.

4 Emblem of Severed Fates
A potent artifact set to run on Kaeya, especially when he requires a large amount of Energy Recharge of around or over 140-150%.

Second Best Artifact Set:

2+2 piece set combinations Noblesse Oblige, Wanderers Troupe, Gilded Dreams, Emblem of Severed Fates, Gladiators Finale, etc

Itto | Playstyle

Itto is a powerful on-field DPS character who uses his Elemental Burst to gain a massive ATK boost proportional to his max DEF. His attack range is among the largest in the game for a melee character, even allowing him to deal with most aerial targets handily.

As Itto is an on-field DPS "hypercarry" character, it is recommended to build teams with support characters that buff his personal damage, provide him energy (as your team DPS will be highly dependent on Itto having his Elemental Burst ready every rotation), or deal damage while off-field.

Itto's playstyle revolves around building up stacks of Superlative Superstrength for his Special Charged Attack (SCA) using Normal Attacks and his Elemental Skill. This is typically mechanically accessible, but there are various combos that you can execute to maximize Itto's damage (which are detailed in the KQM guide linked below). As general rules of thumb, however, you primarily want to:

  1. Use Itto's Elemental Skill at the beginning and end of his Elemental Burst's duration.
  2. Maximize the number of Superlative Superstrength stacks spent in each chain of SCAs.

Nilou | Skill Talents

Normal Attack: Dance of Samser
Normal Attack

Normal Attack: Performs up to 3 consecutive sword strikes.
Charged Attack: Consumes a certain amount of Stamina to perform a twirling slash.
Plunging Attack: Plunges from mid-air to strike the ground below, damaging opponents along the path and dealing AoE DMG upon impact.
Dance of Haftkarsvar
Elemental Skill
Enters the Pirouette state, dealing Hydro DMG to nearby opponents based on Nilou's Max HP.
While she is in the Pirouette state, Nilou's Normal Attacks and Elemental Skill will cause her to enter the Sword Dance and Whirling Steps stances respectively, causing DMG she deals to be converted to Hydro DMG that cannot be overridden and that is considered Elemental Skill DMG.

In these stances, Nilou's third dance step will end Pirouette, and has the following effects based on the type of said dance step:
blurplejoinarrow Sword Dance: unleashes a Luminous Illusion that deals Hydro DMG to opponents it touches and grants Nilou the Lunar Prayer effect. This effect converts Nilou's Normal Attacks into Sword Dance techniques, and her final hit will unleash a Luminous Illusion.
blurplejoinarrow Whirling Steps: Nilou unleashes a Whirling Water Wheel that deals AoE Hydro DMG and creates a Tranquility Aura that follows your active character around and applies Wet to opponents within its AoE.

Nilou is unable to perform Charged Attacks when under the effect of Pirouette or Lunar Prayer. These effects will be removed once she leaves the field.

Dance of Abzendegi: Distant Dreams, Listening Spring
Elemental Burst
Begins the dance of faraway dreams and springs that hear, causing a Lotus of Distant Waters to bloom, dealing AoE Hydro DMG based on Nilou's Max HP and applying the Lingering Aeon effect to all opponents hit.
After an interval, opponents affected by Lingering Aeon will take Hydro DMG.

"We have never witnessed that distant dream, but this dance can bring it to life."

Top of the line drip. In effect, it's a big stat stick for Xiao. The passive takes a few plunges to stack up.

Staff of Homa
Best in slot if you can keep him under 50% HP. That can be a big ask though, as he will need a good Shielder, and you may need to intentionally get hit once or twice to activate it initially. But even at 100% HP, Homa is just so good that it is about on par with other 5*s.

Blackcliff Pole/Deathmatch
About even, which one is better will depend on your CRIT Ratio.

Lithic Spear
Unless you're running Double Hydro Xiao, he will not be paired with many Liyue characters other than Zhongli. However, even with just 2 Liyue characters, the spear is about even with Blackcliff Pole/Deathmatch. An R3-5 4Liyue Lithic Spear is significantly better than PJWS and Staff of Homa. Practically it will not be that good, due to teamcomp restrictions.

Vortex Vanquisher

• After using an Elemental Burst, this character will gain the Nascent Light effect, increasing their ATK by 8% for 16s. When the character's HP decreases, their ATK will further increase by 10%. This further increase can occur this way a maximum of 4 times. This effect can be triggered once every 0.8s. Nascent Light will be dispelled when the character leaves the field. If an Elemental Burst is used again during the duration of Nascent Light, the original Nascent Light will be dispelled.

Yanfei’s 4 star Best-in-Slot, being able to capitalize on all 3 note buffs for the duration of her damage window. At high refinements, the note buffs are potent enough to be capable of succeeding 5 star weapon options.

Kagura’s Verity
When using 2 skills per rotation, Yanfei is able to attain and maintain the maximum stacks by the start of the second rotation; enabling Yanfei to make use of its max stack condition for a decent boost to her DMG Bonus.

Solar Pearl
Plainly a CRIT statstick as the passive does not buff Yanfei’s main source of personal damage, being her charged attacks.

Dodoco Tales
Should players have this event-exclusive weapon, it still remains as a strong F2P option on Yanfei in this playstyle.

Mappa Mare
Decently strong F2P option provided players can spare the billet(s) needed.

Strongest option for Yanfei’s personal damage owing to a high EM substat. Spacing out of skill uses when the weapon passive procs is advised in order for electro auras to be maintained.

Thrilling Tales of Dragon Slayers
Provides a potent buff to a single party member, but mandates a structured rotation in order to properly pass the TTDS buff to the character who benefits most from it.

Hakushin Ring
Hakushin Ring’s weapon passive is extremely easy both to proc and maintain as Yanfei claims ownership over most, if not all overloads. Great multi-buffing qualities coupled with more flexible rotations makes this weapon comparable to the buff of Thrilling Tales of Dragon Slayers.
