Endgame plays a crucial part in any game world, but there's a change in player activity once the Wonder of the World opens. Kingdoms can be well-organized but we always have players who do not know their role and options during the endgame.

Questions to help improve your endgame experience:

  1. Is the length of Endgame too long, too short, or just right?
  2. Is there enough content for the average player or governor?
  3. Is the current structure of end game rewarding, clear, and fun for you?
  4. Do you lack the means to set roles/actions for organizing the endgame?

The end game is boring
Expecially on national servers
No one is moving, just wait to depart on WW when the near is close.
Too long and the WW have too much power to decide who is the winner.
When the WW are running the treasuries are useless for the win, the % of Ww is too important

i think wonder level VP steal reduction should be lowered or disabled so kingdoms behind have more opportunities to tied the game

I would say the % bonus of victory points should be given every day and not when the ww finishes.

That would make the end game run more dinamic

Length is okey atleast in x3 servers (around 2 weeks)

The length is okay in speed servers, too long in x1 servers but those servers are extra long in every aspect

Better do it like the good old time.. who finished first, wins the server 🙂

Right now a wonder does only give a huge amount of bonus VP once the server finished.
So there is almost no point in hitting a lv 0-80 wonder, as only the position at lv 100 matters.

I would suggest to give wonders a bonus on the daily treasury production instead or in addition to the points rewarded at the end of the server. This way keeping a good bonus is really important, rather than being in a good place on the last day.

I would like it that you can only gather a VP % from 1 WW, even if your kingdom has more.
This way there would be no real advantage to holding multiple WWs other than having a spare/decoy or stopping others having them.

it would still be possible to chief a WW from an opponent, but there would be no one team with more than 50% bonus from WWs

Honestly the biggest problem is that once the end game starts offensive players get one shot. There is not enough time to rebuild an army again. It may seem like a weird suggestion, but perhaps the entire server should get a boost to troop training speed equal to the level of the highest WW. This will make early aggression in the WW phase more likely because with the healing tent + a training speed bonus will make replacing those armies easier. Also i agree with the others to axe the VP stealing dropoff. Once the WW reaches 60 or so you can kinda just forget about defending treasures but if they they could always be stolen for VP that makes things more interesting. The problem lies in that the focus of the game narrows. Attacking govs is useless, attacking treasuries is almost useless, and attacking the ww is predictable. There needs to be SOME tactical planning to be done and interesting decisions to be made.

As an average governor, the endgame is a) make sure to have enough gold for traderoutes

b) get tradeoffice during game high enough

c) send all you have to WW's, whether it's res or troops

#

d) done, sit back and relax

meaning those last weeks have no need to log on more than once a day as your tent will be full, barracks and stables can be filled once a day for over 24hours, there is no resource to steal anymore, you set your robber hideouts to have few res but no robbers, so they can't attack you anymore, and you hope there are a few really good tacticians in the team that have a really good bunch of off built (which to have a little action for yourself as def gov, you can help feeding those last days) 😉
