idk how this isn't even in the "to do" list yet but being able to change the ground to sand, grass, gravel, or other surfaces seems pretty necessary if you want a half-decent looking garden. Especially in the first house location if you do what I do every time which is knock it down and rebuild it from the ground up.

most likely going to get locked up in a DLC or something I just wish they'd get it over with and release it rather than being so restrictive with an existing feature. I can understand not wanting to do things like editing land height yet, that could get really screwy in story mode, but not being able to put turf down makes little sense.

As Braveheart said you can only do that in sandbox mode which is why I specified in the title "Story Mode".
