You see other adventurers like you with piles of papers asleep, for gacha players cannot stand reading.

The rationale is you can gamble now and pray that you get what you want or wait a while and get your QJ to V3

If you really wanna push weekly content that’s one thing, but for me I doubt the pulls will make too big a difference, seeing that commander level and getting OP units are the most efficient ways to progress.

I dont see what's so hard abt saving pulls, just dont pull standard and have limited characters help you progress. Suomi already trivialises most content.

If you're target farming any character and it's dupes from standard banner, a 50:50 rate-up is exceedingly better than current banner.

Say for example- If you want QJ, even if you lose 50:50 you are guarenteed QJ in 160 pulls.

In the current banner you could easily go 500 pulls(not counting selector) and still never pull a single copy of a character you want. For that matter, you could keep pulling weapons instead of any character or pull the same character multiple times, as the odds are the same.

Despite everything I've said here, I'm not saving pulls mainly coz I want qj asap and I dont mind pulling till I get the selector to get her. That's an informed decision I'm taking.

If you dont care abt what you pull, then there is no need to wait at all, go ham on the current banner.

But if you're concerned about pulling dupes on select characters, then it's advisable to save for the rate up banner. If you think otherwise you're either misinformed on how the banner works or dont understand probability.

The problem for most people I would assume is that aside from Suomi a lot will be saving for Klukai which won't release for a while. Saving both types of tickets and gems means you aren't really building your roster at all for likely 6 months.

You literally dont need other limited characters if you have v1 suomi. You can skip every banner till klukai and have enough to guarentee at least v3(maybe not if schedule is bad, who knows...). The SR characters are decent when built well and you'd eventually be clearing higher tiers of the weekly content.

So from that standpoint, you can save both- limited and standard. Ofc this is only if you care abt dupes and characters.

My suggestion is to help commanders who want to minmax in the long run.

Some clearly enjoy pulling for the dopamine, and that’s all right.

But anyone who says that this will brick their account or impede their progress… they’re only right if they get what they want, which I guarantee is much less than 50% chance for every 80 or so pulls. If account progress was the concern then the method suggested would improve the odds to 50/50, and even guarantee you get what you wanted if you lose the 50/50.

I got two 5 stars on the standard banner in around 100 pulls. Both vepley weapon which is basically useless lol

Or do what I did, which was do 80 pulls to get Tololo and save moving forward. Tololo carries, and team with Sharky/Kisera/Lotto goes well. Basically do a bit of both.

Ah I get what you're saying now. Yeah if I didn't get Tololo, it wouldn't feel good! I did the 80 pulls before seeing the advice to save, as I didn't know about the selector in the future. I also just pulled to get another SSR to help with early game.

If possible, save. Save is the name of the game. Especially when progress is heavily limited by meta with these types of games. Though if you have the wish to pull for a character regardless of meta, go for it - just know you're trading personal appeal for progress (kinda - you could also be good and clear content regardless)

Or, you're looking to spend money regardless and throw F2P out the window. Lol

Just personally from experience, I got burnt out from playing super optimized 100% of the time. So having a bit of fun helps. Lesson learned from HSR.

As a F2P prior to that point, if you use all of the collapse pieces you you can currently earn from the currently available content and all the limited access tickets, you can get up to hard pity pull for Suomi. Which is somewhere around 130-160 pulls.

But at the same time I want to make sure I don’t get run over by enemies in the future, because the nature of gacha games is that they get significantly harder while bottlenecking resources, so you have to be disciplined to set yourself up for the future

V1 Suomi will help you clear content up to 10 levels above. More if your DPS are already cracked. For me it’s not worth rushing that kind of content too quickly.

By pulling for another Suomi you screw yourself if the next banner happens to be Klukai or some other strong limited

Better wait and see what the next banner will be. Then you can make a more informed decision.

If you're not going for dupes on the next banner, assuming you win the 50/50 for v1, you'll have enough to guarentee atleast one copy for next banner.

I'm f2p, I pulled for v1 suomi plus her sig weapon and I'm sitting at 11k collapse piece atm. I did reroll for the original copy of suomi but even then if you dont pull for weapon like I did, you'll have enough. It's gamba tho coz you still need to win the 50/50. (If you lost 50/50 you'd give up on v1 and hold the pity for next banner)

Like Goodenzo mentioned, v1 is only to push content at high level deficit, not necessary by any means.

another option wud be to wait till end of banner, see news on next banner and then make a call. Lots of people theorizing Dush for next banner and once it's confirmed, you can decide whether you'll be pulling or skipping. If skipping then you could comfortably pull for v1 suomi.

I'm still gathering pulls for V1 suomi, and am basically resigning myself to giving up on it until rerun if I fail the 50:50 for the second copy because at least then next banner is a hard pity guarantee if it ends up being a banger

V is short for Vetebrae level, or the number of duplicates you have of a character.

By saying QJ V3, I’m saying to get 3 duplicates of QJ, and she gets much stronger because her follow up attacks all gain overburn which means she can proc Sharkry’s follow up attacks again and again.
