Terri here to bring you the facts on all you need to know about dispatch.
First things first, **what is dispatch? **
Dispatch is a feature commanders unlock at level 16, and allows you to send dolls on longer missions. Don't worry, they stay usable for combat while they are dispatched. Up to 5 dispatches can be active at a time and take 2 dolls each.
"But Terri, I can't select my dolls to be dispatched!"
This is because you must qualify your dolls first. Each dolls has 3 minor requirements to be qualified for dispatch. In the dispatch assessment tab you can see which requirements those are but in general they involve giving them a gift, leveling them, and bringing them on one mission successfully.
Each doll brings with them one of the following traits:
Courage

Creativity

Eloquence

Friendliness

Resourcefulness

Take note of these because the dispatches have requirements on these types of traits and give** bonuses** if you put them on these missions:
Frontline Support

Emergency Negotiation

Relics Exploration

Supply Transport

Crisis Assessment

There are 5 other Dispatches you'll unlock those later when you're further into the game, but those are out of the scope of this beginner's guide. (and I have no info on them, I might add them later if there's demand for it)
But why are you doing all this? Well for two reasons:
- The dispatch store, like mentioned before dolls sent on dispatches with the right traits give bonuses, that bonus is extra dispatch store currency. (dispatch records) In this store you can use these dispatch records to buy various upgrade materials, gifts for affinity and a single standard banner access permission, which refresh each week.
Remember to check this store if you are ever short on materials and intelligence puzzles, it might just be a life saver. - Mystery box currency, which can be used for the mystery box gacha, which is limited to 100 pulls a week.
Notable things in this box include various upgrade materials, a few standard quality weapons (purple), and a slight chance to get a copy of Peritya, the elite doll!
I have to note that there is an option to convert upgrade materials to mystery box currency, but in general I don't advice you doing that unless you have a super big excess.

dolls start with dispatch power 0, only after raising affinity do they start contributing power. Honestly I've not checked if they contribute anything before assessment, so far I've always assessed my dolls pretty much the moment i get them, but with the next one i get I'll double check for you
